  • 2 Functional description

    2.1 DSM monitoring
    1. Driver fatigue warning

    ( 1 ) Frequent closing of eyes, when detected, alarm is activated; ( 2 ) Frequent yawning, when detected, alarm is activated;
    2. Talking on a cell phone

    ( 1 ) When a phone is detected in the hand, an alarm is triggered;
    ( 2 ) A specific time interval (adjustable in time) is set for triggering the fact of detection of an alarm

    3. Distraction from the road

    ( 1 ) Driver distraction detection (not looking forward (distracted left/right)
    (The alarm threshold is SET (for example, turning the head left and right more than 40
    degrees, up and down by 20 degrees);
    (2) Constant distraction of the driver from the road - the alarm will be triggered;
    Note: The camera should be positioned in front of the person in full face to achieve better accuracy, the face rotation angle should not be too large, otherwise you need to reset the head rotation angle setting.
    4. Driver absence anxiety

    ( 1 ) The identification system does not detect the driver behind the wheel.

    ( 2 ) Sets a specific time interval when the driver absence alarm trigger will be triggered;

    5. Smoking anxiety

    ( 1 ) When the terminal detects the driver smoking, the alarm will be activated; ( 2 ) A certain time interval for the alarm to be triggered is set;

    Note: Smoking with a cigarette in your mouth or hand is currently supported (there must be smoke in the frame for smoking in the mouth to be detected).

    6. System outage alarm

    During operation, the system checks whether the conditions necessary for normal operation of driver behavior monitoring are met in real time. When the conditions are not met, a trigger alarm reminds the driver of this:

    ( 1 ) When the camera is detected as blocked, an alarm will be triggered;
    ( 2 ) A specific time interval is set for the alarm signal to be triggered;

    2.2 ADAS – Advanced Driver Assistance System.

    1. Deviation Warning (LDW)

    Lane departure warning when lane departure occurs.
    1 If there are no clear lane lines on the road or the road curve is too large, the system will temporarily be unable to adapt.
    2 The efficiency of the system decreases on rainy days (if the windshield wipers interfere) and also at night.


    2. Threshold Warning (THW)
    And Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

    The time before a possible collision is calculated according to the vehicle's speed in real time. When the distance from the vehicle in front is sharply reduced or is too close, a warning is triggered for the driver.
    1 The camera must be installed strictly in accordance with the instructions;
    2 At night, due to insufficient illumination, the accuracy of the algorithm may decrease;
    3 If the lane line is not clear, the algorithm will occasionally distort the data or miss an alarming situation.
